This policy explains how Fife Taxi ("we", "us") handles your personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

When you book a ride we collect your name, contact details, pickup and destination addresses, and journey details. If you create an account we also store your saved places and loyalty balance. Payment card details are handled securely by our payment processor (Stripe) and are never stored on our servers.

How we use it

We use your data to provide and dispatch your taxi, to keep you updated about your journey, to take payment, and to meet our legal and licensing obligations. With your consent we may send service updates. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Location data

If you choose to share your location, we use it only to set your pickup point and to show your driver's position during a live trip. Drivers' locations are shared with you only while your trip is active.

Your rights
